Educator

Teaching young minds has been an incredibly fulfilling journey throughout my artistic career. Witnessing children embrace new experiences and fearlessly express their true selves is a daily reminder of the joy and authenticity we should all strive for. My love for teaching was sparked at a young age, fueled by my role as an older sister to four amazing siblings. Growing up, I took on that responsibility with great seriousness, relishing in the time spent babysitting and bonding with my siblings.

In 2017, I embarked on a magical adventure with Fancyful Parties, a professional company dedicated to children's character entertainment. For the past six years, I've had the incredible privilege of bringing dreams to life for little ones, donning princess costumes and enchanting young hearts at birthday parties, special occasions, and volunteer events. Not only have I made children's dreams come true, but I've also reignited the dreams of my own inner child.

However, my true journey as an educator began amidst the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. It was during this time that I had the opportunity to spend time with preschoolers as an After-School Assistant. The genuine connections formed and the light in their eyes as they discovered new skills ignited a passion within me.

In 2021, I founded and directed a Summer Theatre Program in collaboration with Fort Totten Little Theatre in Devils Lake, ND. It was a transformative experience, witnessing young minds explore the magic of theatre and discovering their own unique talents. The following year, I had the privilege of joining a Theatre Children's tour, where I conducted workshops and performed in "The History Show" with TheatreSquared. These experiences allowed me to not only share my passion for theatre but also nurture creativity and self-expression in the hearts of young performers.

Alongside my theatrical endeavors, I've had the pleasure of teaching Improv Classes, Sign Language Workshops, and Stage Makeup 101 with esteemed institutions such as Arkansas Repertory Theatre and the Lakota City Library in Lakota, ND. These diverse teaching opportunities have allowed me to impart valuable life lessons, reminding children that love, joy, and the hunger for knowledge can pave the way for lifelong growth.

Through my teaching, I strive to make a positive impact on the lives of children, however small. By cultivating an atmosphere of love, joy, and acceptance, I hope to inspire them to embrace their unique talents and never cease their quest for knowledge. After all, we are never too old to learn new things!
